Individually hand-painted by skilled artisans in Mexico, its wide brim features precisely arranged botanical fans, delicate spirals, scalloped borders, and tiny circular accents in vivid turquoise and luminous metallic copper.
The ornamental composition continues around the lower crown, creating a beautifully coordinated design from every angle. Against the deep black palm-straw base, the turquoise provides a vibrant contrast while the copper details catch the light with a refined metallic glow.
This premium design requires significantly more time, concentration, and precision than our larger-scale painted patterns. Each small flourish, spiral, dot, and repeating element must be painted and aligned individually. Because the artwork is created directly on the finished hat, there is very little room for correction—one misplaced detail can affect the entire composition. This demanding process and the extensive hand-painted coverage make every finished piece a true example of wearable artisan work.

We added an elastic band to the crown that helps provide a better grip on the head, which is very helpful on windy days.
In order to paint them by hand, we add a coat of varnish and leave them in the sun for 48 hours so that the hat hardens and we can paint it. This fedora is not soft
