Bold contrast meets meticulous craftsmanship in this premium black fedora, individually hand-painted by skilled Mexican artisans. Its wide brim is covered with concentric ornamental borders in luminous metallic copper, combining circular accents, continuous Greek-key motifs, delicate spirals, angular chevrons, fan-shaped patterns, tiny hearts, and fine decorative lines.
Using only black and metallic copper allows every precisely painted element to stand out. The structured black crown and coordinating black-and-tan band keep the overall look refined, while the copper artwork catches the light and reveals new details from every angle.
This premium design requires significantly more time, concentration, and precision than our larger-scale painted patterns. Each circle, spiral, heart, line, and repeating geometric element must be individually painted and carefully aligned around the entire brim. Because the artwork is applied directly to the finished hat, there is very little room for correction. One misplaced line can interrupt the balance of the complete composition.
We added an elastic band to the crown that helps provide a better grip on the head, which is very helpful on windy days.
In order to paint them by hand, we add a coat of varnish and leave them in the sun for 48 hours so that the hat hardens and we can paint it. This fedora is not soft
